When I was in high shcool I remember spending a lot of time on a website called Stumbleupon. You mainly used it as a browser toolbar that had a button that would navigate you to a random page in their index. I remember finding a lot of cool websites with it, but just kind of stopped using it at somepoint in college when I, in general, started to drift offline (with the exception of maybe reddit and instagram). Apparently the domain still exists, but it redirects to something called Mix that I would best describe as, judging by their homepage demo, a kind of generalized Tik Tok.

Anyway, today I learned that my search engine, Kagi, has a nice replacement for that old functionality called smallweb. There was also a post on lobste.rs today that links to a similar thing called Wander. These are both very cute and nostalgiac for me and I look forward to playing with them!
