I have two cameras: a Ricoh GR and a Sony A7S II. The Ricoh is a compact point-and-shoot camera with an APS-C sensor and an 18mm fixed lens (28mm full-frame equivalent). The Sony is a mirrorless camera with a full-frame sensor. Both cameras are fun to use in different contexts, but I use the Ricoh most often because it is insanely lightweight, fits comfortably in most of my pants pockets, and feels really nice to hold.

This page contains links to other posts with collections of pictures taken with these. I’ll try to specify which cameras/lenses are used on each post. If I don’t, you can assume the photos were taken with the Ricoh.

I use darktable to sort through all of my pictures when the number of unprocessed shots on my SD card starts to weigh on me. It’s a nice free and open source alternative to Adobe Lightroom. It is fairly well documented and the learning curve isn’t too steep if you only use it for culling and basic corrections like I do. It’s also scriptable!

Some of these photos are mirrored in on my Flickr account
