This book started strong, but I lost steam just before finishing the first of the three novels it comprises. I might have finished it if I wasn’t gorwing increasingly embarassed by how many times I’d renewed my lease from the library, though. I was reading it in parallel with The Nix, which was quite long, and I was busy-ish at work around that time. Maybe I’ll check it out gain in a few months and try again.
